Good Therapy Center

Jessica Goodman, LPC, NCC

Licensed Professional Counselor & Clinical Supervisor

About

I started my career with college students, transitioned to children, adolescents and families, and am now focused on adults and couples. My clients have included humans as young as 3 and as old as 83, giving me a broad understanding of human behavior through a developmental lens. I am passionate about working with trauma, anxiety, and relationships.

Therapy with me should feel like showing up to your favorite room in your house where you can be, explore and connect with yourself. There will be days you may not like being in this “room,” but you know going back in for the next session will be helpful. My role is to hold this space for you through accountability and questioning, but to otherwise nearly disappear while we are together, allowing you to focus on you and your experiences while deepening your connection with yourself.

Trauma

This can include sexual, emotional, natural disaster, from your family of origin, PTSD, CPTSD, you’re not sure if you have PTSD, you’re not sure if it’s Trauma (you just know it doesn’t feel good), etc.

Anxiety

Maybe around your career, your new family, your new relationship, another life transition, or even an anticipated transition.

Relationships

From pre-marital, long-distance, long-term, ethical non-monogamy, to queer, poly, and sex within any of these relationships. Currently pursuing AASECT Sex Therapy Certification.
